My assumption (this could be totally wrong) is that they might make an invisalign-type mold of the person's teeth, and attach the brackets and wiring to that, so that it just slips on and off without major work.

The sound of them scraping it off was the worst omg. I had my braces taken off 6 years ago and I can still remember that sound. D:

Ugh, my orthodontist is in the process of pulling a tooth out of the roof of my mouth and into place in my gums so as it gradually comes down he's taken brackets off and put new ones on more towards the middle of the tooth and every time he takes the bracket off I panic and think he's going to rip my tooth out of my gums :(

I just got braces a month ago and have been wondering what the process is like to get the brackets off. Ugh! I almost wish that I never got these shits in the first place.

It's probably done the same way retainers are made.

Hated braces, when I got mine off I felt like my mouth was slimy because the inside of my lips were touching my gums once again and it was so weird to not feel that for 3 years and then to suddenly feel it again, it was kind of gross.

i went once for a check up and the BITCH DOING THE CHECK UP RIPPED ONE OF MY BRACETS OFF.

When I first saw this picture I thought it was a guy. Then I scrolled down and realised it was her. And the first time I heard I kissed a girl I thought it was by a boyband.

She doesn't even look/sound that bad. I mean, after I realised, I could definitely see/hear she was a girl. I just keep making that mistake lol
