Y'know, if they played Hermione right in the films, she wouldn't be 'demure' and 'diligent', she'd be 'annoyingly opinionated', 'bossy', and 'headstrong' instead. Emma isn't exactly demure in the films, but her mothering, constant crying, whining, and worrying doesn't help.
I love Emma, I really do. But I always get annoyed when she complains about the clothes/styling that she had as Hermione. Her Hermione wasn’t half as “geeky” as book Hermione (she didn’t have bushy hair after film one - instead she had perfect, light and wavy hair.)
After film two, they allowed the character to be as pretty as they could get away with. She rarely looked "plain and boring." Just a gripe.
She's an okay person and all, and she's adorable, but she needs to stop complaining so much about how "difficult" being famous is and how Hermione's wardrobe was so awful. It was NOT that bad after film two.
smh @ her tbh
her life seems so perfect
(NGL, I'll be sad if it doesn't beat a midnight record)
Oh wait, I blame this on Steve Kloves, too.
