Lady Gaga raises 250,000+ for relief efforts

Lady Gaga announced today that she has raised over $250,000 to support relief after Japan’s disaster. The money comes from the sale of the “We Pray For Japan” wristband (designed by Gaga) which fans can now purchase at the singer’s official website. Didn't want those ugly ass claw things on any part of my body so I donated to Red Cross.

What's sad is that I've heard a lot of people say "don't donate" because, since Japan is "super rich" they don't actually need our support. SMH @ America

I have friends who have worked in disaster areas around the world including the US and have nothing but bad things to say about the Red Cross.

I haven't seen her but when she came to my city one of the reviews was that she talked A LOT in between songs but was overall very entertaining, energetic, etc

Watching the news reports on Japan makes me so sad. I went there in 2009. It was the most amazing place with the most amazing people. I wish them a swift, painless recovery.
