Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Planning To Adopt, Despite Cheating Claims

Hollywood’s hottest couple, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, are desperate for a baby together - and are turning to adoption.

Just five months after they were rocked by cheating allegations, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are pulling out all the stops to adopt a baby together.

“Demi and Ashton have been like newlyweds these past few months,” says an insider. “In the past they’ve made no secret of their desire to have kids… and now they feel the time is right. it’s incredible how their relationship has turned around.”

Last September, the couple were rocked when 21-year-old Britteny Jones claimed she slept with Ashton at his Los Angeles home, while Demi, 48, was away. She also alleged that the couple have an open marriage.

While Demi, and Ashton, 33, angrily refuted Brittney’s story, “the scandal brought them closer,” says a pal. “It made them realise that maybe they had been taking eachother for granted.”

Workaholic Ashton agreed to scale down his involvement in new business ventures, such as his TV production company. “There were nights when he’d end up sleeping on the couch in his office because he was so exhausted from working so late,” says the source.

Now, as the couple put all their efforts into reassessing their relationship, “they started talking about having kids,” says another source.

“Demi’s greatest sadness is that she didn’t marry Ashton years earlier. She’s desperate to have a baby with him, but realises she is probably too old to get pregnant.”

In recent weeks, sources say the couple have been discussing the possibility of adopting or even having a child via surrogate, like Nicole Kidman and Sarah Jessica Parker.

“Demi is keen on the idea of adoption and so is Ashton, but he is also interested in surrogacy.”

It is not the first time the subject of kids has come cup as Ashton and Demi, who have been married for five years. In February 2009, she tweeted her denial of a report claiming their were planning to adopt. But now, pals say, things are very different.

Demi already has three children from her marriage to actor Bruce Willis - Rumer, 22, Scout, 19, and Tallulah Belle, 17.

In an interview last year the actress gushed: “He [Ashton]‘s a an amazing father to my daughters already so i have no doubt that it would be another incredible part of our journey together.”

Ashton has previously confided that he’s always been interested in adoption.

“I have thought of adopting a child my whole life,” he said. “When i was eight, i had a friend called Terry and one day he told me he was adopted. He said his parents told him there was a special bond between them because they picked him. I though that was pretty profound and i would be open to the idea.”

Now pals are saying the pair could have some baby news sooner rather than later. “If a baby is on the way, you can be sure their relationship will thrive – and they will be amazing parents.”

It is always such a great idea to have a baby to save your marriage. I am sure this will work out great.

It's true. Babies never bring added stress to relationships or anything, they just stick people together like glue.

There are studies on this that concludes that even if you had a happy marriage before the baby, the index of happiness still goes down after the kid arrives. So it's like it happens to happy couples that planned the kid out.....

Yep, my husband and I were really happy before our daughter, we planned her and right as she came we became less happy. We're happy now but in a diffent way I guess.

True that.

I'm picturing you saying this phrase to both. I believe they would not understand the sarcasm implied.

Ashton definitely wouldn't.

"I had a friend called Terry" that just sounds kinda weird, and they didn't capitalize the I.
Also lol at "If a baby is on the way, you can be sure their relationship will thrive."

Oh, well done. Good idea, hinging a marriage's survival on a baby. A-one reasoning there.

He said on Graham Norton that she moved herself and her kids into his house not two weeks after they met. That is fucking nuts.
elvenqueen86 11th-Mar-2011 06:16 am (UTC)
O_o that is nuts.
sookehhh 11th-Mar-2011 05:57 am (UTC)
It still baffles me that they're together. It's probably because when I look at Ashton all I see is Kelso.

Demi’s greatest sadness is that she didn’t marry Ashton years earlier.

I get what she's saying, but, how many years are we talking about?

androganus 11th-Mar-2011 06:47 am (UTC)

I think this is why May December romances bother me. One part of the duo is already past a part in life that the other has yet to experience. Esp, if it's something they would love to do and the other person can't or doesn't want to do that part over again.
