Paula Abdul made a frantic and tearful 911 call during a Valentine's Day drive with a boyfriend -- repeatedly screaming, "Drop me off!" ... and TMZ has obtained the recording.
During the call -- placed at 4:35 PM on Valentine's Day -- Paula cries and sobs hysterically and says, "I wanna go, and he won't let me!"
Seconds later Paula says, "Are you gonna drop me off 'cause I have emergency on the phone" -- and shortly after that she says, "He's dropping me off."
Officers got in touch with Paula about an hour later and she said it was just a verbal dispute.
We're told Paula and the guy were driving near Santa Barbara when the epic argument erupted. Cops went to her house that night and found she was fine. Paula did not want to file a police report.
A spokesperson for Abdul tells TMZ, "Arguments with loved ones are often times heated. After the call was made everything was worked out."
You can listen to the 911 call at the Source FYI it sounds pretty upsetting :( poor Paula.
I also had no idea how to tag this, sry.

RSD when your pain censors go haywire and you feel everything from fire to someone slamming a hammer on your body. If she's snowed up, I don't blame her.
the disease causes swelling, lack of blood circulation, stiffness, coldness, uncontrollable pain, and other things. then when you're on a pill cocktail like that you have the side effects of the pill that you gotta combat... it's not a healthy life at all but it beats lying in bed all day in unbearable pain.
and with high dosage and with her specific lifestyle, i wouldn't doubt it if people my suspect she's a drug addict but considering these are controlled substances and she has a known disease... she might be getting pissed tested by her pain management doctor to make sure she isn't abusing her drugs.
:/
then again this is hollywood, i just wanna think about the positives because she has helped in getting the word out about RSD and I thank her for that.
