Chris Brown is speaking out after pictures were released by MediaTakeOut showing the results of physical abuse he inflicted on pop singer Rihanna after a 2009 fight.
The images are shocking, showing the pop star with multiple lacerations on her lips, huge bruises on her eyes, around her cheeks and forehead.
Chris Brown was convicted of assaulting his then girlfriend back in 2009. He was sentenced to five years probation, 180 days of community labor and ordered not to contact Rihanna.
The leak of these latest images come just a day after a Los Angeles judge revised a protective order which now allows Brown and Rihanna to communicate.
Brown took to Twitter to address the release of the horrific images:
"The Devil is always busy!! But when u have a destiny, nothing or no one can stop what god has planned!"
The R&B singer has since removed the tweet. Rihanna's camp is remaining quiet.
