What’s a doll to do when she’s face-to-face with multi-Grammy award winning artist and actress Janet Jackson? Swoon! That’s exactly what happened when I met Miss Janet, and I’m beyond thrilled to have been involved in look-alike doll project.
Inspired by the ultra-glam black gown she wore during her 2010 American Idol performance, I knew we had to recreate that look for her one of a kind doll. Mattel Designer Jackeline Gonzalez duplicated the black gown, including the body-hugging cat-suit underneath that she revealed during her second, upbeat performance. Her gown is kissed with bling created by countless hand-placed Swarovski crystals. Even her mic is crystal-studded.
Look closely dolls, Janet’s sassy, short hairstyle, unique face and body sculpt and face painting all meticulously duplicate the legendary singer’s features.
Divinely Janet includes a certificate of authenticity and a unique display case for your superstar collectible.

ONTD, do you have a favorite Barbie from childhood? I did, it was the Black Butterfly Princess Barbie she looked (and still does) SO pretty and I wanted to wear a big, pink, glittered ballroom gown with butterflies like her too.

We need more non-white dolls to be in the mainstream.
hen they became cancer survivor barbies that my Spice Girl dolls would put on benefits for on the roof of my Barbie House
All my Barbies ended up being sex fiends.
I had an Esmerelda Barbie that I took the head off of and then I cut all her hair off because I knew that Demi Moore did the voice of Esmerelda and and she was also GI Jane, so it made sense that Esmerelda should have a buzzcut like her. I think I was 8 lol
My little sister and I buried it in my mom's garden, along with Baby Spice Barbie.
Also, not exactly Barbie, but I loved the Anastasia doll.
I didn't get the dress I wanted. My mother got the incredibly regal purple one, I wanted her in the yellow 'Once Upon A December' dress or the blue 'We're going to the ballet!' dress. I pulled her head off by accident. My mother still hasn't gotten over it. She never will.
I also really wanted a Pocahontas doll, could never find that bish.
The Once Upon a December one is SO pretty.
I was Anastasia in the blue dress for Halloween in Kindergarten :P. Best. Costume. Ever.
i want this janet doll so i can be like jack with his cher doll
There would be, I'm certain.
