Nick Lachey releasing first single

Nick Lachey is set to release the first song from his new album on Friday February 3 on AOL First Listen. The song's title is "What's Left of Me" and was written by Nick, Jess Crates, Lindy Robbins (both co-wrote Incomplete by the Backstreet Boys) and Emanuel Kiriakou (worked with the BSB, Nick and Jessica, Joe McIntyre and numerous other names, movies and so forth). Nick will then be in NYC on February 6th and will be debuting the song on Z100 with Chubby and will follow that up on February 7th with Ryan Seacrest in LA.

What he should do is more of the ballady guitar playing stuff. You know like Ryan Cabrera, James Blunt, Ashley Angel, etc. There's more of a market for that kind of male singing even though I hate it. At least it's better than "shut-up."

I found out about this because I'm a fan of Eman - and Eman is the ballard guitar playing stuff. Hopefully that is what he wrote for Nick. I have faith in Eman's stuff and Nick's voice is not bad so maybe, just maybe it will be good.

This one actually has a chance of being successful if he capitalizes on the divorce and puts that in his music. On his last album, he went the complete boy-band route and how could anyone take the song "Shut Up" seriously when we were all watching him being lovey-dovey with Jessica on TV? I think people need to think of him as genuine, since he already invited us into his living rooms and we feel like we know him anyway. A married man surrounded by half-naked women just didn't seem genuine.
