Leighton Meester to Be Face of Vera Wang's Next Scent


 

“Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester has signed on as the face of Vera Wang’s next fragrance, WWD has learned. The advertising campaign, which will be shot by Carter Smith this weekend in Manhattan, will break summer 2011 in fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines. The fragrance will be available in department stores next summer. The designer noted that she believes Meester’s “beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance.”

I love Leighton. She is so gorgeous and adorable in her interviews.

Also, Dan is such a douche. She didn't give up Colin's class, and he is not giving up his job, for six weeks. THAT'S LIKE A MONTH AND A HALF. It's not a huge deal.

lol Yes, exactly. I mean I like Dan on occasion, but his recent "Jenny, don't stoop to their level" and then in the very next episode, pulling that shit of trying to bring Chuck and Blair down, and now this, has just got me rolling my eyes massively. It was like that one ep in like first or second season where he was like "I am the most understanding person in the world" and I ended up laughing for ages because he's like the most judgmental guy on the show.

I'm so pissed off about the C/B last episode. I used to love them together, but after last season, I wish Chuck would just disappear off the show. I can't stand him, I can't stand how everyone on the show has accepted him back into their lives, and I get angry every time he comes on screen.

Also, I don't understand why they can't find a decent guy for Blair. And I don't want her with Nate or Dan. She deserves a guy that hasn't hooked up with Serena.

I skipped the last two episodes. Lately, everytime Chuck was on screen I felt like screaming "FUCK YOU!!!". And I used to ship Chuck and Blair too. :(

UGH. No more Chuck and Blair.

I'm so over them. I actually liked Eva and I wish she would have stuck around. And it'd be nice if the prince that Blair met would reappear.

But the one good thing that this season does have is the Juliet storyline. There's a ton of intrigue going on there that is fun.
