Rihanna doesn't know her songs have been on 'Glee'

In a new interview, Rihanna was asked about "Glee" and she responded by saying, "I have seen a couple of episodes and being in 'Glee' would be fun. I'd do it if they asked me. I'd lend my songs to them for sure."

While that's all well and good, I'm guessing the show's second episode -- "Showmance" -- wasn't one of the few RiRi has seen, otherwise she'd know the Lea Michele delivered a stirring rendition of "Take A Bow" at the hour's end.



Guess the award for the worst liar goes to you, Rihanna.

It's because it's in a different pitch. Which kinda makes it pointless imo.

Does the original writer of this article not know that some artists don't have the full rights to their songs? It's whoever owns the most rights to songs that license these songs to Glee, not always the artists themselves.

Oh, wait, it's the NY Post. They're always idiots. Nevermind.

yeah i listened to the real version and i still don't like it but w/e. i don't think her voice suits the song.

Although it sucks that this makes her look so dumb right now, I feel like this is more of her label's fault. I mean, I highly doubt Glee/Ryan Murphy/etc asked Rihanna herself to use the songs. I'm sure her label okay'd it and just never told her about it or made a big deal about it. Especially since this was back when Glee was barely starting.

ia. I was glad when Rachel sang it because I do like the song, I just never liked Rihanna's version of it. Now Rachel's is the only version that I listen to.
