Britney Spears to land a Variety Show





Guess her stint on Glee really gave her an edge when it comes to television. Reports are surfacing that Miss Spears has been approached with the idea of hosting her own variety show.

Not only is Britney Spears very close to again being allowed to manage her affairs, but her recent hit gig on ''Glee'' has the entertainer fielding a ton of other small-screen offers -- including launching a series of periodic TV specials similar to the old ''Sonny & Cher'' variety shows.


We have to say, we'd be psyched to view this if it actually goes down!
