also, this video really makes me realize how different everything is now. 12 years ago Britney just showed part of her stomach in a music video and people were outraged. but a 17 year old girl can be on a bed with bedroom eyes and have a shot of her in her panties and no one even blinks.

not saying there's anything wrong with this video. I like both Britney and Miley.. just sorta crazy how times have changed.

things got much more squeaky-clean since 1999. in 1999, britney performed at the kids choice awards with her NIPPLES SHOWING THROUGH HER SHIRT and had a disney channel concert where she showed her stomach. the genie in a bottle video aired on the disney channel. these days, the disney channel has a strict no-stomach showing rule AND the PARTY IN THE USA video HAD TO BE EDITED because it was too edgy.
