Hollywood newcomer Q'ORIANKA KILCHER is so sickened by the high price of Hollywood style she's making her own costumes for premieres and awards shows.

The teenage actress, who plays COLIN FARRELL's love interest in new movie THE NEW WORLD, insists she could never wear a $10,000 (GBP5,500) gown on the red carpet while people in her native Peru struggle for basic education.

She says, "I could start a school for that amount of money in Peru, where my people are; a music school or computer school where they could learn how to be lawyers and learn how to protect their land.

"So I just started sketching and making my own clothes with my mom.

"If I see something I like, I make it myself. I made my own dress for the premiere... I made four of them."

...she probably did use some of it for charity. I read her family's pretty poor though, and since she hasn't likely made that much from her first role,s he's probably spending it on that.
