Maybe because it was specific to Chicago, I'm not sure.

Agreed. My fav band is huge in Germany (and other European countries I guess XD but they are like. the u2 of Deutschland) and every single ticket costs 35 euros and tour t-shirts cost $20 max. I mean, really.

If that were Australian dollars, $40 would be bargain basement price for a concert tshirt. Most concert tshirts here start at $50. If you can see an artist here in Oz for under $125 then you're obviously at a club.

Detroit Metro, I've only ever used ticketmaster for buying tickets though, and they never have anything available or it's at a ridiculous price for very poor seats.

what i did was buy tix the night before on stubhub. its risky because you might not always get the seats you want, but they were only $60 for seats that would've cost me double the price.

Have you ever been to a concert that wasn't in some dive bar? Sadly, almost everyone charges 40 for a shirt. The ticket is ridic though.
