The 37-year-old rapper proudly rocked to his portable CD player as he arrived at his hotel in Paris on Monday (May 31) to kick off his European press tour.

A fave of Beyonce’s and Kanye West’s, Em reportedly checked into the hotel’s $17 000/night penthouse suite.

Meanwhile, the tracklisting for Eminem’s upcoming album, Recovery (out June 22) features a song with Pink. Still no word on whether they’ll cooperate on an accomodating music video featuring an aerial acrobatics routine.

i think mine is the one right after that, the first one that had just the click wheel. whatever, the thing is in perfect condition and still works great! i have an iphone but i hate the stupid ipod on there.

I had one of the third gen ones, like the oneohnopolio posted a pic of, up until last September/October. It developed this problem where it wouldn't charge while connected to my computer and so the battery would drain while synching. Luckily my mother had bought me a new one (a 64GB Touch, which I'm typing this on right now) that she was saving for Christmas but she gave it to me early. I kept using the old one until it reached the point where it just wouldn't synch anymore. It had a long life and was getting pretty battered, it now lives on my bookcase, I couldn't bring myself to throw it away.

Rock out on the old school iPod. In the past 6 years, I've had 2 iPods die on me. Why I keep coming back to Apple, I have no idea why.

Although let's take a moment to assess the fact that something made in 2004 is now "antique" or "old school". Technology is fucking crazy.

idk i don't really use either devices but i have an ipod and never use it. i refuse to pay like $1.99 or something for each song on itunes and i know there are illegal ways to get music but i'm scared of getting viruses.

and i'm really stupid about how to transfer it all and everything and it just seems like too much work for what it's worth lol.

people give me the fisheye when they get in my car and see that my ipod is connected via my tape deck. i live in LA so there are so many stations i cant use an itrip cord...the tape way sounds SO much better, and its $5 instead of $90.

i used my tape thing too lol I used to have an itrip, it broke (twice) and I just said fuck it, i'm not buying another one. so i just got on ebay and order a 4 dollar cassette thing. Haven't had a single problem with it.

I connect my iPod through my tape deck! I got one of those FM transmitter docks and every time I come up to an intersection it cuts out. So now I use it as a charger to sit my iPod in while playing it through the tape deck.

That's also the reason I won't get a new car, I can't handle having no cassette deck.

omg i used to use my tape deck thing all through high school and maybe until sophomore year of college. But by then I had gone through about four of them cuz they kept breaking. So eventually I switched to the FM thing and luckily i've found the two stations that work in the dc area haha


i just hate the tape things bc if you don't take them out the right way, they stop working.

Don't let them get you down! My tape deck finally broke in my car and I had to get a radio thing. Ughhh it sucks, especially in LA. I spend so much time trying to find the right station and when I do it goes away in like five minutes ughh.

I used to do that, too. But then I got a new(er) car and it only has a CD player and radio. So now I've gone back to burning CDs. I kept the tape adapter though. Couldn't bring myself to throw it away. =/

I miss my tape deck for this reason. I got a newer car and I was excited about the cd player for all of 5 seconds when I realized I don't use fucking cds and I couldn't use my tape thing anymore. :(

itrip is annoying and the sound quality is terrible.
