Riley Keough (The Runaways) has been cast in Bradley Rust Gray’s werewolf flick Jack and Diane.
According to Bloody-Disgusting Keough will play Jack, a teenage girl who falls in love with another girl named Diane (Cara Seymour), but a love that becomes a struggle to keep alive as Diane begins to push her away after starting to have werewolf-like visions.
Keough, who most news sites take great pleasure in constantly emphasizing that she’s Elvis’ granddaughter, is something like the fifth actress to be cast in the role. Others who have since departed include Olivia Thirlby, Ellen Page, Juno Temple, and Alison Pill. All would have made excellent lesbian werewolf lovers in my humble opinion, not that I’m necessarily an expert in that particular subject.
Jack and Diane goes into production in June, if all goes well from here and Keough manages to stick with the role
