Ashton Kutcher said he does not try to make sense of the death last December of his ex-girlfriend, actress Brittany Murphy, of pneumonia at age 32.
"I don't think you can, I don't know if you try to make sense of it or not," Kutcher told "Nightline" co-anchor Cynthia McFadden in an exclusive interview.
"I just celebrate who [Murphy] was," Kutcher said. "She was like the person who walked in the room and she was always the first person to dance. You know when you go to a party and everybody is standing around, and the music is going -- and you know sooner or later everyone is going to dance. She was always the first person to dance. And I just try to connect to that and celebrate who she was and how she was, and not make sense of it, 'cause there is no sense of making sense of it."
Kutcher said that he had not been in close touch with Murphy, his co-star on "Just Married," before her death.
"Not really," Kutcher said. "I mean she came in ... We were casting a TV show that we were producing, and I wanted her to play this role in it, and she came in and I got to see her probably about two months before she passed away."
This is his first public statement about Brittany as I do not count Twitter (it was sweet, but it was still posted. on. twitter. Back away from Twitter slowly, Ashton.)

Ashton Kutcher: Brittany Murphy Was 'First to Dance'

I fucking hate this douche.
Anyway...
;-;
only it was "I haven't seen her in anything lately, I wonder- oh...yeah..."
that took me a few reads to make sense of that.
Once we got into the apartment area-- we ran and so I'm 99% sure that they didn't see us... omfg... I'm so scared and paranoid right now.
I think the same guys were messing with these other two girls that were walking ahead of us-- because as soon as they turn a corner, I saw them running.
GET MACE TOMORROW.
be careful!
Glad you're safe!
I can't stand walking alone, I can't even walk across the street without someone yelling out shit at me or a fucker honking at me. It's like, JUST BECAUSE IM A FUCKING FEMALE DOESNT MEAN I WANT YOU TO SEXUALLY HARASS ME.
I really need a knife, but my mom doesn't want me to get arrested for seriously hurting an asshole or getting caught with a weapon. But I mean, wtf is mace gonna do? I don't want to put some seasoning on the motherfucker.
you should buy some pepper spray at the very least
Also, not really related to your story but if you get carjacked, cause a minor accident, like drive in the middle of an intersection. The carjacker doesn't want the attention so he should bolt. And if you haven't put your seatbelt on and you get carjacked, pretend to reach for your seatbelt and then as you come over to put it in the buckle, swing your elbow over to hit him in the face.
Also, if there is a van parked next to your car, on the driver's side, enter from the passenger side so you can't get grabbed while you're getting in the car. And if you are held at gunpoint, don't try to get away until the gunman is talking because it's difficult to coordinate talking and shooting.
I collect tips. And I am paranoid. :P
In all seriousness though, bb. I am sorry to hear that and I'm sure everything will be okay, just keep the door locked.
One time when I was like nine, my sister and I were walking home from school and this guy in a beige boxy-looking car pulled up next to us and asked if we wanted a ride. We said NO, and he circled the block and kept creeping up next to us.
We booked it home. O.O
