Eminem: There is NO relapse 2! (kinda)
Mr. Mathers the fun and games are over!
What was claimed as a big announcement by Eminem on Twitter earlier last month is indeed news about his highly-anticipated studio album "Relapse 2". However, instead of giving update on the status of his recording session, he has taken away fans' hope to see the effort hitting the market.
"There is no Relapse 2," so the Slim Shady wrote on the micro-blogging site which is rarely updated by him. The news comes as a surprise since there have been talks over the Internet in the past few weeks that the record was in the works and even the lyrical content of the album has been discussed.
This leads to speculation that Eminem actually is working on a new album but it is not aimed to follow up his 2009 effort "Relapse". So far, there is no other message posted by the rapper to explain about that matter.

So yeah basically I'm guessing Em just started from scratch and renaming the album..which was expected imo...but he sure made everyone go crazy on twitter last night haha.
But no worries little stans! I am sure Eminem is going to release yet another award winning album soon! Considering they already started the promo! Mr. Mathers promises!

Part of the reason why a lot of songs live a long time on the radio is because people want to hear them when they go out on the weekend.
And sadly, there is really no Eminem song ever that can get played in a club and people run out to the dance floor to go in.
He should work with Swizz, leave the angry lyrics alone, stop rhyming about the kid, the fucked up mom, and your bad relationship, and just make a party CD.
ur right he is never on the radio (except for a few songs)...but he still sells records. He doesnt need to make a club banger to get recognition...and his hard core fans DONT want that from him...in fact most would be pissed.
That's why i like Em...he just does what he feels comfortable with and everything falls into place. Its almost like Mariah...her major fans get piss when she tries to act like she is 20 and dont give them their ballads..so they dont support her.
why fix something if its not broken? I mean he does change it up each album (even tho there are some regular themes involved) but his music is like an autobiography...thats why he doesnt even bother with much interviews...everything is in his music and thats just Em...if he just made one big party cd his fans would be confused/pissed as hell.
He doesn't need any recognition. He has enough money between him and the height of 50's run to retire gracefully.
Also, Eminem making a party CD wouldn't be him acting like a young dude. For Mariah and her chicken head ass music yes. But come on, just at least ONE song like this:

I wanted to hear Relapse 2 because of the tracks Just Blaze produced on it. smh@him wanting Em to go back and make an album of records like Just Lose it and We Made You.
so allll these rumours about blaze and everything is still true...it supposivly an amazing album...and all the rumours u heard are still there.
this "there is no relapse 2" tweet is suppose to get fans excited b/c basically they have a name for it now...which means they will have a date soon...so this a GOOD thing :D

but the way the twitter message is does make you worry a bit, because everyone refers to the new album as r2 even if that is not the name of it.
