FUCK ANYONE who criticizes her for doing this, she really did it out of her heart and you can tell

the girl just wants to fucking work, if we didn't focus so much in her personal life maybe she could catch a fucking break. leave her alone! and admire her for her talent not for what she does in her personal life.

I love her voice.

This is moving subject, but does not make me believe LL is ok.
She is a very talented and just totally lost it. Going to India has not changed her. I feel genuinely sad for her, 'cause all she's got is that shitty family who won't help her get back on her feet. She's a wreck. :(

I wish people weren't so hard on her for doing this, it's seems she can't do anything without people turning it into something negative.

I love how Lindsay falling outside a club gets hundreds of comments but this gets less than 100.... not right
mediapass 6th-Apr-2010 01:35 pm (UTC)
Her fault really.
acidillusion 6th-Apr-2010 02:53 pm (UTC)
this.
junsuisa 6th-Apr-2010 01:24 pm (UTC)
You can tell that she has genuine compassion towards them because of her own personal experience with abusive people, I don't think that she did this solely for her own personal gain. People should see this documentary.
mediapass 6th-Apr-2010 01:37 pm (UTC)
it's a real shame that her partying and shit will overshadow something like this because it is actually good to watch/talk about etc.

she is an angel

i know this situation at all isnt funny. and i'm a horrible person for cracking up.
but when the poor girl was saying she knew she'd been sold when she saw women in 'short dresses drinking and smoking' then one of the following questions lilo asked was 'DID THEY GIVE YOU DRUGS?'
jus made me giggle yknow.

I felt so moved by the girl that started crying right before that girl and then it went away when Lindsay asked about the drugs. I instantly thought, "I wonder how she feels willingly doing harmful drugs when these girls were being forced to take drugs by their traffickers."

I can tell that Lindsay was obviously effected while she was there, but I wish she showed that since she's returned. :/
on_my_raider 6th-Apr-2010 02:12 pm (UTC)
This is such a horrible issue, and it made me really sad to watch it. I don't understand how anyone could criticize Lindsay here, she's genuinely saddened and moved by what she's hearing and learning, and it's really touching to see her interact and how the girls interact with her. wtf is wrong with people.
jillirific 6th-Apr-2010 02:36 pm (UTC)
her voiceover sounds like she's reading a story to children.
annabolena 6th-Apr-2010 02:40 pm (UTC)
haven't watched it yet.. but good for her for making this and raising awareness.
foxxxygrandpa 6th-Apr-2010 03:02 pm (UTC)
im surprised! she did a really good job. i like how she didnt back down when talking to the trafficker. i feel so bad for these kids, their situations seem so hopeless..
ectypes 6th-Apr-2010 03:30 pm (UTC)
"trafficking is not going to stop until people take it for seriously"
fifth video, 4:00... lols
