Lady Gaga: 'Insanity may be my destiny'

Lady Gaga believes that she is powerless to stop the consequences of fame and has apparently accepted that it could eventually drive her insane.

The 'Telephone' singer said that she will never allow anything to come between her and her art, even if it makes her go mad.

"I'm already crazy," Gaga, 24, told OK!. "I'm a fearless person. I think it creeps up on you. I don't think it can be stopped. If my destiny is to lose my mind because of fame, then that’s my destiny."

Gaga described stardom as being like "rocket fuel", spurring her on to do more and more to please her fans. "My passion is so strong I can't sleep, sometimes for days," she added.

:( i'm sorry to hear that and i hope she gets better. i'm well aware that public figures shouldn't be role models but young people are impressionable and someone like gaga comes out and claims she wants her fans to feel comfortable in their own skin and not be a "freak" like she was when she was younger but is constantly saying contradictory things to that message.
