Madonna's former manager Caresse Henry has died after an apparent suicide.
The 44-year-old was found dead in her home in Irvine, California on Wednesday (March 31) following a self-inflicted gunshot according to the Orange County coroner's office.
She worked with Madonna for about a decade, up until 2004 and also managed Ricky Martin, Jessica Simpson, Joss Stone and Paula Abdul.
Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg released a statement to CNN saying: "Despite rumours to the contrary, the cause of death has not been determined and is currently under investigation.
"The family has requested that their privacy be respected during this difficult time."
Henry is survived by her two children, Honour Kristen Norman and Ava Caresse Hinojosa, who both live in Los Angeles.
A funeral service is expected to be held next Friday (April 9) at St Paul's Church in Westwood, California.
R.I.P. Caresse. This is really sad and unexpected news :(

I wonder how all of her former clients are going to react when they hear about it. I would be really sad.
and I hate to be inappropriate but I can't leave without commenting on how gross Michael Moore is.
RIP
R.I.P.
hopefully she has found peace from whatever it was that troubled her, poor woman.
it's "oseary"
YOU DON'T HAVE TO SLEEP WITH THE MAN, YA KNOW?
and thanks to svu/other detective shows, i know that suicide by a gun for women is not very common.
And possibly disrespectful to the dead, idk.
Also, fishy. Women who commit suicide rarely use firearms, they usually choose less violent ways of killing themselves.
