Tom Cruise Hurt In Motorcycle Accident

Ambulances are currently on their way to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and it appears he has been hurt — but thank God, not fatally!

HollywoodLife.com has just learned that Tom Cruise was involved in a motorcycle accident today, March 7, outside KOI Restaurant on La Cienega Blvd. in Los Angeles at around 3 p.m. EST. He is currently being taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It appears he has been hurt, but fortunately, not fatally. We’ll have more information as it becomes available.

UPDATE:

He was heading south near the intersection of La Cienega Blvd. and Sherwood when a car ran through a stop sign in front of him. Thinking quickly, he leapt from the motorcycle and immediately ran to the sidewalk, dodging traffic. The bike, a red Ducati, continued sliding, hitting a brown SUV and denting its back tires. Tom sat on the sidewalk outside KOI Restaurant on La Cienega Blvd., where he made two phone calls and waited 30 minutes for paramedics to arrive, eyewitnesses tell us.

Though he refused to be taken to a hospital, claiming he was fine, he spoke with police and the man driving the brown SUV that his motorcycle hit. When we approached the man about the accident, he said, “Tom asked me not to talk about this, but I’m fine.” He seemed annoyed at the inconvenience, but not altogether upset.

Says one industry insider, “Tom is a better stuntman than most professional stuntmen I know.”
