A Facebook group has achieved its goal of getting more online fans for an ordinary pickle than for Nickelback.
The social-networking group, titled 'Can this pickle get more fans than Nickelback?', was started on February 8 to voice popular disdain for theUS rockers.
Nickelback currently have 1,413,167 Facebook followers, although their total was surpassed yesterday when the pickle managed to climb to 1,414,000 fans.
Meanwhile, a similar attempt on the site to get a sausage roll more fans than Cheryl Cole has so far only accrued around 1 million followers.
