Yes, that’s right Polaroid has announced it is going back to it’s roots, the Instant camera. Thanks to Lady Gaga (Polaroid’s newest creative director) and The Impossible Project, expect to see the PIC 1000 (pictured above) out in stores this year.

“The cameras should go on sale this year. They will have flash, red-eye reduction and even a self timer, and come in wood-effect or blobby silver. Price TBA”

I liked them cuz even though the pic was taken 5 mins. ago, the resulting picture looked aged anyway. I was pretty disappointed when Polaroid went the "instant photo printer" direction, but I know they have to figure out ways to keep the business alive and if the old way wasn't working, etc. etc.

I get them Free from neighbors or I find old ones in the house or I buy them. It kinda just happened HAHA. But I use them in my photography. I have some REALLY REALLY old Polaroid cameras.
