Ugh. I can still remember the shock I felt when I found out. Now it's just pure sadness. What makes it even sadder for me is that he was in such a bottomless pit that he thought suicide was the only option for him.

I take solace in knowing that he's happier now, wherever he is.

I personally can't say I've grown up knowing who he was or whatever, but I do remember the first time seeing some of his pieces and just being completely awestruck. Especially a lot of his couture designs.

its fab to see his whole body of mainline work together like this. I had totally forgotten about loads of stuff I was in love with at the time... and there isn't a duff collection in there :(
