depends on what outtakes they are. some outtakes are shopped pictures which in the end just didn't make it into the magazine or so.
and some are un-altered pictures from the shoot.

but it's pretty decent photoshopping. they just did adjust the saturation and lightning a little and used the blur tool on the skin. that's like done all the time.
