Oprah Winfrey says she's going to Los Angeles for 'one-on-one' interview with Jay Leno



Oprah Winfrey says she is set to interview Jay Leno.

Winfrey said on her talk show Friday that she was going to Los Angeles for a "one-on-one" interview with Leno to air on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Thursday.

The interview comes as Conan O'Brien exits "The Tonight Show," allowing Leno to return to the late-night program he hosted for 17 years.

O'Brien's final show will be Friday. Leno will return to "Tonight" on March 1.


I'm not pleased with you Oprah unless this is some kind of trap, and you totally give it to him. Where is Conan's interview?!

I don't think it's employed very often. It means heightened or extreme emotions, which this story has provoked, much to my bafflement. This is some dry, boring shit imo.

ditto. i remember seeing an episode of jay presenting a cake to oprah during one of her shows for some special occasion. i think it was her birthday. this was a long ass time ago too. brad and jen were still together and they were invited. it was being held at oprah's home i think and once the guests enter her front dooor they are greeted by violinists playing music down the stairs. lol, the whole episode is coming back to me now.

Agreed. I think the Leno hate is a little out of proportion. Yes, if he wasn't there they may have stuck with Conan but who is to say they wouldn't have shafted him for someone else? Why would anyone want Conan on NBC anyway when its clear they don't respect him?
