Harry Potter theme park construction update!

Time for another spin around Universal’s Islands of Adventure for a look at the construction of Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is scheduled to open this spring. There was a certain buzz going about the park today. Part of that was the construction, clearly visible and audible around the perimeter of the new “island” wedged between Lost Continent and Jurassic Park.

But there was a lot of people-originated buzz — folks peeking through the fence and general chitchat filled the air. “Those guys are so lucky,” one kid announced. “Why?” asked his friend. “Because they’re working on Harry Potter.”

Here’s some of what I saw. Hard to get a shot without a construction worker these days.

Yeah, I think they had to do that because it can only like 200 feet high or it has to have lights on it for airplanes.

I remember reading a lot the park a while ago, I'm not that nerdy, promise. :P

I love that Cinderella's castle looks MONSTROUS from the end of main street and like 4 stories high when you're next to it.

IDK if they'll have it bottled in a store to buy, but you will definitely be able to buy butterbeer in the "pubs" of Hogsmede (like the Leaky Cauldron and such).
