The young daughter of late socialite Casey Johnson has no idea her mother is dead - because the heiress' grieving family is struggling to find a way to explain their tragic loss. Johnson, heir to the Johnson & Johnson cosmetics company, was found dead at her Los Angeles home on 4 January at the age of 30.
She was laid to rest this week, but Johnson's sister, Jaime, admits adopted three-year-old Ava has yet to be told of her mum's passing. Jaime tells People magazine, "My mom's trying to figure out the best way to explain it. She's teaching Ava about angels right now."
Little Ava is currently being looked after by Johnson's mother Sale, 60, and her husband Ahmad Rashad in New York. An autopsy on Johnson's body showed there were no signs of trauma but the cause of death has been deferred, pending toxicology tests.

I'm not going to pretend that I really paid attention to Casey Johnson before her death. I'd seen her featured on a VH1 'Fabulous Life Of' special, and I knew that she was 'engaged'via publicity stunt to Tila Tequila. But, I do think it's sad for such a young child to lose their parent. Even sadder to think she doesn't know yet. :(
Ava Johnson unaware of her mother's death

she's such a cute little girl too.
She's a single young woman with Type 1 Diabetes, a history of drug use and partying, and did she even have a job?
I STILL DONT GET WHY SHE SAYS IT WAS A BOY
did tila really have miscarriage?
Plus. I have a 3 year old and they don't understand death AT ALL. My kid will say things like "I can't watch Madagascar today..it made me die yesterday!" And thinks that when she kills a bug it's just hurt and needs a bandaid.
Awwww, so cute! I remember the ye old goode days were bandaids were literally life savers.
Btw, your icon is seriously making me lol.
idk maybe it just varies a lot, but imo little kids don't get enough credit
Fuck Tila for filing adoption papers...does she really think she can fight the Johnson & Johnson emppire?
