The viral campaign posted about yesterday has signed up a twitter account, @iamamiwhoami. Their tweets include messages like "SPREAD THE WORD. IT IS COMING." and "SHE IS HUNGRY". The account has posted a link to its videos, as well as sending this message - "WILL YOU FOLLOW OR FLEE? SPREAD THE WORD. #sheiscoming" - to a number of other celebrities and Twitter users.
Viewers have pointed to a number of artists as a possible source, such as Bjork, Goldfrapp, The Knife, or even Christina Aguilera, who worked with Goldfrapp on her forthcoming album.
Who could it be?
It's not The Knife. Popjustice says, they've "already announced their new album so it seems a bit of an odd time to be anonymously sending out 'virals'".
The blog continues, "We've asked our Goldfrapp contact who says "I doubt it very much, I think it's Lolly", while our Christina contact is - as they say in the business - 'checking with the Americans'. ("It’s very odd," she adds, helpfully.)"
It could still be Goldfrapp because...
