Paris Hilton has been left devastated by the news of fellow socialite Casey Johnson's death.
The Johnson & Johnson heiress, 30, was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Monday morning and Hilton has been among the first people to comment on the tragedy.
She tells Life & Style magazine, "I am devastated to hear this news. I've known Casey since I was a baby.
"She had a big heart and she was a good friend. I feel so sad, I don't want to believe it. My condolences go out to her family and loved ones."
The Hilton sisters were so close to Johnson, Paris' sibling Nicky was godmother to the socialite's adopted daughter, Ava, three.
Los Angeles police have confirmed that they believe the death was "natural" and that no foul play was suspected. Toxicology reports are still to be conducted.

Damn, Tila. Even Paris isn't making this about her (although wait for this to some how show up on Tyra before the end of the season). That being said does it bother anyone else how they keep having to point Ava out as being adopted? She's her daughter damn it. I don't see why that needs to be thrown in.

If I call my boyfriend after he usually gets out from work and he doesn't answer, I'll start worrying that something happened.
Same with my friends. If one of my friends drops off the face of the Earth (assuming it's not finals week for them), best believe I'll be trying to find out what happened.

I'm not saying that to be malicious but at 30 and apparently having a good life, it seems weird that she just... died. It's so sad.

I doubt Tila will get her since Casey didn't even have custody and Tila and Casey weren't married. She still might try though.

This whole situation is so effing odd.
I never knew any of her drama but all I knew was she was an heiress with crazy dimples and diabetes and for some reason I missed all this other jazz (relationship with Tila Tequila?! who does that?!)
