i agree, i bootlegged half the movie and clocked that instantly even on the horrible pirated screener i had. They should just called it a reboot instead of this avatar bs. Im still gonna go see the rest of it tho in the cinema just for the ~3D~ experience as im a bit of a 3d whore.

IKR! I learnt it in English because the Pocahontas subbed trailer and the song were in my Lion King vhs. It's the only Disney song I learnt in its original language when I was little.
If you've watched Pocahontas before it pretty much slams you in the face how similar it is. However, a few people here have been saying it's not that similar. I don't know how you can miss it if you've seen them both. The movie is amazing because of the special effects. The storyline is certainly nothing special.
IKR? My friends have been like "Oooh, I'm going to see Avatar in 3D today" and I just say "Girl, you can watch your VHS tape of Pocahontas at home for free, same exact movie".
well...the whole Imax 3D is pretty awesome though. so even though its pocahontas, I went just to see the 3D effects. it needed songs though so... pocahontas beasted
OHH my god seriously me too!!! I said it before I even SAW Avatar...and I was right. I mean come on, John Smith and Jake Sully? Could it BE more obvious?!
But... I watched it recently and really disliked it.
i watched a youtube vid for 'colors of the wind' and cried, lol

AS i was watching the movie and they were in the Rainforest I was thinking... this movie is like an Upgraded Ferngully!!!
