i used to get the spicy italian until i found out it had twice the fat and calories of the turkey. now i just get the turkey with the same stuff i would get on the italian and it basically tastes the same for half of the bad stuff
You forgot about the cookies! The sugar cookies at Subway...heaven.
idk i'm a little sleep deprived but that sounds disgustingly fantastic

tl;dr thank you for validating me.. with SCIENCE!
moderation and acceptance is key but we all go crazy when it comes to food, weight and diet. sigh.
Fad diets, things done with the mindset "I want to be thin, I want to weigh X number of pounds, I want a hot body!" are almost always doomed to failure because they're not real lifestyle changes. People get to that x weight and...stop. And back on comes the pounds. Nonstop cycle.
Whereas if you change your mindset, viewing it as 'getting fit, being healthy', putting a positive spin on it, doing exercise that is fun rather than a chore- THAT is what works and keeps it off. There is no quick-fix weight loss, and it's sad that when people finally realize that (after blowing money and time on things uselessly) they usually don't even try anymore. :(
Of course there are exceptions- my friend lost quite a bit of weight with Jenny Craig that he hasn't gained back. But he had the willpower to stick to that set dieting regime (not to mention the money for it) and most people don't. I know I sure as hell don't want to eat the cardboard cinammon sticks from JC when I could have half of a real one for 150 or whatever calories. =\
