i didnt have my first drink till i was 22.. and i got plastered.. i laughed all night.. then the following year i spend a year abroad in london with 10 friends and we all lived in this amazing house and seriously got drunk like 24/7 going to clubs and stuff and i thought id never be like that.. but you know i got it out of my system and i know what its like.. now im 28 and i dont drink at all.. im like ocd super healthy freak and i have a high iq and am paranoid the booze will kill my brain cells.. people think im weird for not drinking but ugh!! people can make choices you know, it doesnt mean i cant have fun. i just want to remember it all the next day and not regret making out with some ugly grimlin who took advantage of my drunken stupor at a club!! ive also never done illegal drugs in my entire life, for fear of them killing my mental abilities... am i paranoid or what? haha

That was me before I turned 18. I saw my friends all getting wasted and I was kinda mad/resentful at/of them for acting like idiots, etc. and thinking that was cool. I never tried to preach at them about it, but at parties and stuff I'd just have like a sip out of someone's bottle and that would be it for me. Then idk, for some reason after I turned 18 I just fell off the bandwagon. In a big way. Haha. And now I wouldn't imagine NOT doing it. I get your view as well, though.
