Alexa Chung arriving for the Vivienne Westwood show, New Oxford Street. I photographed Alexa Chung earlier in the day on Luxbrough Street, at the Topshop venue. As I briefly took my shots, Alexa seemed bored and tired of being photographed. This is understandable to some extent, given the amount of media attention she is given. So I decided to post this grab shot of her instead, which I feel says more about Alexa than the portraits I took previously, - which were totally bland and devoid of interest. I also came across Alexa at the Luella show and offered her my card, she refused and referred to me as the “Topshop photographer”. I found her comments really patronising and unnecessarily rude, and it begs me to ask the question, is this what you become when you reach celebrity status and have constant media attention?

i realize it gets old, but i believe in still being gracious. this isn't an instance of paparazzi, this is london fashion week and everyone wants to see what you are wearing. that's what gets her so popular. no need to shit on the talented streetstyle photographers that are trying to share your style to the world.
is alexa a bitch?

THIS. THIS. THIS. It pisses me off SFM.
Though America is welcome to keep her. We in the UK hate her too.
Although...refusing their card isn't exactly polite so who knows, maybe she is a huge bitch.
