People that believe that shit haven't talked to Canadians. I talked to some Canadian tourists last weekend and they said the only problem with their health care is that their specialists come to the US because they get paid more.
If we had the same health care as them their specialists would stay in Canada. So fixing our health care system would also fix their one problem.
Well I mean... there are other smaller problems, this coming from a canadian, but you're essentially correct. Guys, I need to tell you the truth... everyone is laughing at you. When the people who watch fox news aka faux news, and believe the things they say about other countries systems, making it sound like the rest of the industrial world hates their lives where we have that awful awful burden of knowing that if we get sick we don't have to worry!!
Seriously: I live in Vancity. This is 45 minutes from the border. I feel bad as hell that there are people who live 45 minutes away from me that may be dying because of lack of health care.
No shit. I worked as a pharmacy tech for 10years and the amount of rejected claims was RIDICULOUS. I especially loved the ones where the insurance companies think they are doctors, and tell you that the patient needs to be on a different med than the one they were prescribed BY THEIR DOCTOR.
Insurance companies were the only reason I HATED that job.
I know, he is so great! I love that he was dressed all preppy and was holding his glasses haha. I've loved him since the State and finally saw 17 again a couple weeks ago, and it just reinforced all the reasons why I love that man.
