(Secretly Fired) Lisa Ling Returning to The View



Journalist Lisa Ling is returning to her old stomping grounds on The View as a guest co-host on Oct. 5 and 6. Lisa says she’s ready to jump back into things with her pals Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd, while Elisabeth Hasselbeck is on maternity leave.

“I’m thrilled to be mixing it up with the women again. I’m hoping that some serious debate ensues,” said Lisa in a statement issued by The View on Thursday.

This summer, Lisa went through a scary ordeal, after sister Laura Ling was detained in North Korea. She was finally released and reunited with her sister on Aug. 5. Lisa is also correspondent for The Oprah Winfrey Show.

I like her and her documentaries on National Geographic are really interesting. I'm intrigued to hear more about her sister's ordeal in NKorea too

I only knew Aisha as that chick that used to be on CSI and then I watched her intervew with Chelsea Handler. She came off so funny and nice that I immediately started to like her.
