Vera Wang has been an icon in the fashion industry for quite some time now, but that doesn't mean the style veteran isn't constantly being mesmerized by all the new fashionistas emerging on the entertainment scene. Most notably these days, it's Lady Gaga who has all of the fashion world buzzing, including Wang.
"I think she's always been original. I think she knows who she is," she told MTV News at Fashion Week in New York. "I think she's truthful to herself. I like people who are truthful to who they are and express who they are. I find that fascinating. ... She knows what she's doing for her."
As for younger starlets like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, Wang says they're doing great when it comes to their looks, but she thinks they'll develop their styles more over time. "I think that style is an acquired taste and style takes time. I think very few people are born with it in the very beginning," she explained. "But I think certainly with the scrutiny they have publicly, they're gonna have to really focus in on that because it is such an important part of the media now."
But Wang explained that at the end of the day, it's about being yourself rather than pandering to trends. "Well, I think you really have to look at yourself through realistic eyes, and there are all kinds of beauty and I think there are all kinds of sex appeal,"she said. "And I think probably the thing I would say the most is be true to yourself and develop who you are and your own sense of style. And I would encourage all women to do that."

I love her now. I don't know what happened, it was like an overnight thing. I'VE SEEN THE LIGHT.
I still think her music is boring compared to her appearance.
Does her perfume smell good? I'm going to go perfume shopping this weekend and I've never tried any of hers, is it worth it?
Damn, I'm horny. Celibacy fucking sucks.
go fap or something

i stopped reading after that. i'm listening to that christmas tree song rn now btw.
but she's a hermaphrodite... does she REALLY know who/what she is?
also someone in my child psych class today shouted out GAGA and MJ when the professor mentioned hermaphrodite's and i loled and thought of ONTD
That's an ignorant thing to say, and not even funny.
I used to like her, but I don't know, she's way too much of a try-hard for me now. I'm hoping that she'll prove herself to be this great artist once again with her album though. I really liked the Fame, and then all this publicity for her totally killed it.
