IKR? One day when you're like, really tired you find a picture of like, Reese Witherspoon in a flowy top and take it to some underling at the magazine and are all like "Hey, I'm tired, publish something that speculates she might be pregnant" and the stupid intern underling is all "Wait, I don't think that's true" and you're like "AND?! GO GET ME A GODDAMNED BAGEL AND PUBLISH THE STORY, ASS"
I seriously wonder how the Kopechne (spelling?) family felt after hearing he died. I wonder if they blame him for Mary Jo's death, and if they were contact with him before he was diagnosed with cancer.
Except that its mentioned in every story about him. Why does a man who did so much good work have to be remembered for one horrible, tragic incident? It was a terrible thing, but shouldn't his good work atone for that sin? If people are all on Ted Kennedy for Chappaquiddick, then those same people need to be on Laura Bush for killing that one dude, and that truck driver who killed Joe Biden's wife and daughter and walked away uninjured and unpenalized.
I don't know what you have been reading but every story mentions it; including the documentary on his life that he helped with
But much like when Nixon died, it was less about Watergate and more about his foreign police successes (also ironically, no one mentions Watergate was about destroying Ted Kennedy)
oh, ffs, you couldn't go to any thread/forum without having someone mention that. It was a trendy topic on twitter. That's hardly "nobody remembering".
If people want to grieve by remembering the good instead of the bad while the wound is still fresh, then let them. I doubt it personally affects you whether or not someone grieves a certain way.
That story is infuckingsane! I was looking at a documentary the other day and they said the family still can't go outside because of paparazzi :( The first picture of them would be worth 1.5 million dollars, ugh
I keep wanting to know how she's going to overcome this. Like, where does her family go from here? I think there's hope for her children because they are so young, but she endured almost 18 years of abuse. Gah. It makes me so depressed just thinking about it.
I love how they make it sound like Shilo is this young adult out in the world on her own taking flying lessons and an acting career. She's a fucking baby, you stupid tabloid.
didn't you know that little girls are supposed to be dressed in little pink dresses with their hair done and little white mary janes. what is this world coming to when girls are allowed to wear pants and a tee shirt. it might give them ideas and we wouldnt want that!
I know. She's 3, my daughter was born like 2 weeks apart from her. She's unable to take care of herself without adults no matter how independent. For fuck's sake. And just because she likes to play rough or fly planes doesn't mean she's a tomboy. Fuck, I flew with my dad when I was 3. but she is adorable
I think if you make a remark like "Poor kid" for losing a parent or something like that, it doesn't make you a weirdo. Plus, people have an affinity for kids sometimes. I do feel that shit like saying the kid is a loner and stuff like that is weird, but feelings of remorse because of a lost parent, or something, it's not that bad. I can't think of any other examples, but ya know what I mean?
it's more about the tabloids putting them as their main story/cover...obviously people are into reading about celeb kids and it's a bit weird...they're just kids they need their space
randomly butting in... Don't fear it, college is amazing. Sooo much better than high school. I've just graduated, and it sucks that I'm not back there now. Fuck the real world!
College is amazing!!! I graduated a few years ago and I wish I could go back. Applying and choosing where to go is the hardest part. Just get through that and you're in the for the best time in your life, bb. Have fun!
I assure you that - contrary to popular belief - his fan base is not comprised entirely of "fat 14 year old girls." More like Efron and the Joanas Bros who enjoy that fanbase.
I was the first to move into our flat on Monday so I've been chilling on my own. It's been pretty awesome tbh. I did feel lonely sitting eating a readymeal for one early tonight though :(
TY! It's kind of like when I realized there was an arrow between the "E" and "x" in the FedEx logo. One of those "ONCE YOU SEE IT, YOU'LL SHIT BRICKS" situations.
its sad that people get paid to publish such bullshit stories!
Its funny how everyone conveniently forgets that he fucking killed a girl and walked about scot free!
But much like when Nixon died, it was less about Watergate and more about his foreign police successes (also ironically, no one mentions Watergate was about destroying Ted Kennedy)

I've been watching my Andy Griffith Show DVDs lately, I don't want to picture it.
