Sesame Street Tribute at Daytime Emmys

It was mentioned in the other posts, but this was pretty much the only moment of the Daytime Emmys I cared about. It made my inner 5 year old happy and Sandra Oh was super cute in her intro.

Snuffy was my favorite, but I did have a little Sesame Street house I dragged everywhere with me and constantly chattered on about B and Ernie.

oh mty god. Sesame street taught me english as a little foreigh bebe.
Oh, and did someone die from sesame street? Cause that's the use when people die.
Oh, and i'm allergic to seeds so sesame street always made me break out.
Oh, and not like, break out like a superstar, like, hives break out.
Oh, and not like that rock n' roll band the hives like, the nasty ones.
Oh, and Oh.
rhapsodeeinblue 31st-Aug-2009 06:18 am (UTC)
I was born in the US but my parents are immigrants so I only spoke the ~mothertongue~ as a baby... until I watched Sesame Street. For this reason I will always love television.

neimans 31st-Aug-2009 06:21 am (UTC)
I distinctly remember that episode being on in my parents living room, and then they re-aired the episode at night and i was all confused why sesame street was on at night and the same.
lovedforaday 31st-Aug-2009 06:22 am (UTC)

generationxwing 31st-Aug-2009 06:20 am (UTC)
*incoherent with glee*

I -love- the Rubber Ducky song. I sang it the other day. I'm 24.

swarley213 31st-Aug-2009 06:28 am (UTC)
The best part of being a nanny to me is getting to live in a kid's world every day. Nothing but Sesame St., dinosaurs, fairy tales, pirates, and colors and shapes ALL DAY every day.

Best job on earth, not helping my Peter Pan complex though/
generationxwing 31st-Aug-2009 06:30 am (UTC)
Hee. Hell if I know what happened to it, but I totally had the Rubber Ducky song on tape when I was a kid.
crystalfairie 31st-Aug-2009 12:19 pm (UTC)
Haiiii Fellow Nanny!
