Here's how the season premiere went down. The crews are placed in groups of 3. The judges pick two crews they want to save and the three crews in danger have to battle it out at the end to survive.
Group One:
We Are Heroes and AfroBorike advance; Beat Ya Feet Kings must battle (deservedly so...I thought they sucked balls).
Group Two:
Massive Monkees and Artistry in Motion advance; Southern Movement must battle. All 3 crews were good, but I thought Southern Movement was better...do you think the fact that "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 2 contestant Donyelle is in Artistry in Motion might have something to do with that? Just sayin.
Group Three:
Rhythm City and Vogue Evolution are saved; Fr3sh must battle. Fr3sh totally got screwed...I thought they were in the top half of performers tonight and because they got stuck with the two best crews IMO, they had to battle by default.
In the final battle, Beat Ya Feet Kings and Southern Movement were saved and Fr3sh was sent packing. Southern Movement deserved to stay, but Beat Ya Feet Kings were utter crap. I think the only thing that saved them was the fact that their dance style is "unique" compared to Fr3sh, who were just simply a good crew and that's it. Hopefully Beat Ya Feet Kings get the heave-ho next week. In the immortal words of Lil' Mama, I DO NOT GET EXCITED WHEN I SEE THE BEAT YA FEET KINGS!

i don't like that they're only doing it by text messaging now, too. contrary to popular belief, not EVERYONE has a cell phone(i mean i do, but there's people out there who don't lol) or not everyone who has a cell phone, has text messaging as a feature unless you pay extra.
that being said...i think i like Artistry in Motion(my gurl Donyelle from SYTYCD season 2!!!) and AFROBORIKE(which i can't pronounce....but the blonde guy is kinda hott). i was really amused at JC admitting he REALLY liked watching the guys dance lmao!
