PETA Compliments Gaga’s Kermit Outfit

Genius! In what looks like an amphibian homage to our “baby” coat, Lady Gaga has chosen a “ribbeting ” way to tell the world that skins aren’t in.







“The Kermit the Frog outfit is by an incredible designer by the name of Jean[-Charles] de Castelbajac, and he does a lot of museum art fashion pieces. … I really loved this one in particular because I thought it was commentary on not wearing fur, ’cause I hate fur and I don’t wear fur. We were all laughing in the haus about how it looks like a pile of dead Kermits.”

It's like looking at one of those really contemporary art pieces which is just a dot of colour on a blank canvas and you're like, this is just a dot on a bit of canvas wtf i can do that, then you read the statement on how it represents the fragility of life and the representations of feeling alone in the world. And suddenly it seems like a masterpiece.

honestly you'd be surprised. and i think that in general, it makes it easier for people to dismiss vegans/vegetarians in general - people make comments like, "HAHA FOR EVERY PIECE OF MEAT YOU DON'T EAT, I'M GOING TO EAT THREE" because it's easier for them to justify it to themselves.

I've been a vegetarian for 6 years and I HATE PETA. I'm all for the protection of animals from cruelty, but people have a right to their opinions and I hate when PETA pushes their's on others. People can eat meat if they want to, it's their choice.
