Pop princess Britney Spears is worried that Lady GaGa is copying her trendsetting on-stage persona. Brit has been particularly on guard since GaGa — who was once believed to be the victim of swagger-jacking at the hands of Christina Aguilera — was snapped in Toronto this month sporting ensembles that looked suspiciously “Spears-like.”
Even BritneySpears.com bosses noticed the similarities between the two pop divas — similarities that have shaken the 27-year-old who popped onto the music scene more than a decade ago.
A source tells Star: “On the one hand, Britney appreciates that GaGa is so into her look because it shows she respects her, but Britney worries that GaGa is encroaching on her territory…As long as it doesn’t completely steal her thunder, she’s OK with it.”
