After months of speculation, the 10-year marraige of Jon & Kate Plus Eight's stars Kate and Jon Gosselin appears to be coming to an end.
Documents to initiate a legal split were filed at the Bucks County Courthouse in Reading, Pa., Monday afternoon.
Fans who have watched the couple's popular TLC show – or read the voluminous coverage of the Gosselin marriage in the press – will hardly be surprised: The duo had long maintained a tense relationship, with Jon recently telling PEOPLE he wanted a less high-profile life, while Kate appeared to remain committed to their TV career.
In February, photos surfaced of Jon in the company of young women during a solo visit to see his mother, who was recuperating from surgery, in Huntingdon, Pa. The couple quickly attempted to quash rumors of problems. But in May, the scandal erupted again when 23-year-old Deanna Hummel was photographed driving Jon's car home from a bar late at night.
When the fifth season of the Gosselins' show premiered May 25, the couple admitted to having problems and not knowing where their relationship was headed. "Parents of multiples have triple the divorce rate," Kate said through tears. "I was thinking we were going to beat that. I don't know if I can say that anymore."
TLC promotions of the show are promising a major announcement about the family in Monday night's episode of Jon & Kate Plus Eight.

Same here. I HATE it when people publish spoilers, but, I still will be watching the show tonite.
I knew this was coming sooner or later.
Still, I wonder what will become of the kids, you know?
Kate and Jon looked so happy and in love on their wedding day, didn't they?
Sad.
But she really is a damn harpy.
Who get the kiddies? I am guessing Jon and that they will move to NYC, but they could well end up splitting custody, too.
BTW, ONTD is entirely too distracting while I'm studying for the bar. I hope I don't end up saying "Chris Fine is hot and Twihards are psycho; therefore, the plaintiff should win" in one of my answers.

Mmmm, I am not so sure I want to. I think once the show ends, which it now likely WILL, then everyone deserves to be left in peace and the kids will need to recover from multiple traumas, namely that of being victimised by divorcing parents, and then having been exploited by them and the media, as well. It will be a mess, for a long time to come, I am guessing.
Don't watch the show tho.
I will still watch the show despite all the spoilers for it, having been "leaked" online. Dammit, I hate it when that happens!!
I feel like by this point, they're both at fault. But they clearly aren't trying to work stuff out or else we'd get pap pics of them outside a therapists office. Bitches. I'm mad at them.
if anyone hates them, its probably mady and cara since they're old enough to remember like BEFORE the cameras.
