Forbes Hottest Young Royals of 2009
The young Windsors sweep the top three positions in the latest ranking of the hottest young royals by Forbes.
Brothers Prince William and Prince Harry are #1 and #2, followed by their cousin Zara Phillips. The list is compiled according to the royals’ “international Web and media presence and family wealth.” The list ranks royals according to power, measured by international Web and media presence and family wealth. Forbes only considered unmarried royals between 18 and 35 years old.
Prince Harry just can't win. Though he has the same royal pedigree and photogenic good looks, he's still a step down from brother William on Forbes' ranking of the world's young royals.
The 10 young royals on Forbes' list belong to five noble family lines and represent nearly $75 billion in combined wealth. While their fortunes have been affected by the global downturn, the majority of the families have significant wealth in property, jewels and art. Though in recent years, critics have been quick to point out that much of a monarch's personal wealth should be counted as a public asset, since most royal families receive annual allowances from the state.
Also among the notable changes from last year is the disappearance of Princess Victoria of Sweden from the ranks. After years of rampant speculation, longtime beau Daniel Westling officially took the princess off the market earlier this year.
If tabloid rumors prove correct again, Prince William may surrender his top spot for a life with Kate Middleton. Prince Harry may soon be a winner, after all.
The hottest young royals of 2009 are:

1. Prince William of Wales, United Kingdom
The 26-year-old son of Prince Charles and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, tops our list thanks to his press popularity. Of course his royal lineage, good looks, charming demeanor and intriguing family dramas make him an easy target. Prince William, currently on tour with Britain's Royal Air Force, was under fire for allegedly using his flight skills for "joyriding."

2. Prince Harry of Wales, United Kingdom
Prince Harry just can't seem to top his big bro, as he once again ranks second to big brother William. Harry is a carefree royal: He has made headlines smoking marijuana, partying and dating South African heiress Chelsy Davy. But for the last months, he's been known in the press as "Hero Harry" due to his time in the British Army.

3. Zara Phillips, United Kingdom
Zara Phillips is not a princess because her mother, Princess Anne, wanted her children to live without formal titles to make their lives easier. Zara, an impressive equestrian, won the gold medal in the World Equestrian Games in 2006 but an injury to her horse meant she had to pull out of the 2008 Olympics. She's dating professional rugby player Mike Tindall.

4. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Dubai
Sheikh Hamdam is the son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Moktoum, the prime minister and vice president of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai. The Sheikh was appointed as crown prince of Dubai in February 2008, according to his father's decree. He placed high on our list thanks to an extensive royal lineage, but also for attracting attention as an avid competitive equestrian and the chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.

5. Princess Beatrice of York, United Kingdom
Princess Beatrice is the daughter of Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York. She's currently on gap year after graduation in 2007 from St. George's school. The press has tattled on the princess for her partying and for dating David Clark, a Richard Branson marketing man.

6. Princess Sirivannavari, Thailand
Princess Sirivannavari is the daughter of Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. She's achieved her own fame--and brought new eyes to Thailand--as a fashion designer. After showing two seasons during Bangkok's fashion week, she showed a collection during Paris' fashion week in the fall of 2007. She's also been an international badminton competitor, taking home a gold medal in the 2006 Southeast Asian games.

7. Princess Eugenie of York, United Kingdom
Princess Eugenie is the younger daughter of Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York. Stepping out of her big sister's shadow, Eugenie was photograpped by Tattler magazine. She attended Malborough College and graduated from there with A-Level grades of A in art and English literature and B in history of art.

8. Andrea Casiraghi, Monaco
Andrea is the oldest of Princess Caroline of Monaco's four children. He is second in line to the Monegasquean throne behind his mother, though this could change if recent rumors regarding his uncle, Prince Albert's upcoming nuptials to Charlene Wittstock turn out to be true. Andrea is known for his striking good looks and his romantic relationships. Most recently, he's been linked to Tatiana Santo Domingo, the socialite and beer-fortune heiress.

9. Charlotte Casiraghi, Monaco
The second of Princess Caroline's four children, Charlotte is fourth in line to the throne after her mother and brothers, Andrea and Pierre. As a child, her paternal grandparents bought her an island worth between $7 and $9 million dollars. In 2007, Charlotte gained a License of Philosophy from the University of Paris IV: Paris-Sorbonne. Charlotte is often photographed at fashion shows, art exhibits, and other high-profile events with her boyfriend Alexander Dellal.

10. Prince Azim, Brunei
Prince Azim is fourth in line to the very wealthy throne of Brunei, whose current ruler Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah is worth an estimated $22 billion. Azim is a paparazzi favorite; rampant rumors linking him to models and celebrities claim he often pays for celebs to attend his parties and lavishes them with gifts. At his recent 25th birthday bash, he included a Kenyan safari and dental makeover in the goody bags. One of his favorite performers is Mariah Carey, to whom the prince hand delivered a $5.7 million necklace with matching ring via private jet in 2006.
So aside from the fact that Zara, Andrea and Charlotte are not even technically royals and therefore shouldn't count, this list kind of fails. Here are some better looking royals.

his mother, princess astrid, is the daughter of the king of belgium (parents not related) and an italian countess (parents/ancestors not related in any way).
his father, archduke lorenz, is the son of an austrian archduke (his parents weren't related) and an italian princess (her parents were first cousins, but her mother was a french royal and half of them were first/second cousin marriages)
lol sorry, i know a lot about royal families. very few of these princes and princesses have grandparents who were related, the exception probably being the british, greek and swedish ones.
she kind of reminds me of peaches geldof
the dowager princess of genovia would NOT approve of this fuckery
