Zac Efron Vanessa Hudgens Wedding: Zac & Vanessa Married By September

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We hear High School Musical sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will tie the knot in a intimate wedding ceremony planned for September.

Blabbing tattles tell Britain’s People that the couple are already eyeing tropical venues for the Fall nupitals. Hawaii’s winning by a nose.

“Zac is over the moon Vanessa said ‘yes,;” according to a source close to the couple. “They are both young but they know it’s the real thing.”

Zac, 21, and Vanessa, 20, met on the set of Disney’s High School Musical three years ago and played teen couple Troy and Gabriella in the franchise. The young lovers live together in Los Angeles.

“The proposal was something Zac had been thinking about for a while. They are both really excited about the wedding - it will be a star-studded day. They fell in love with Hawaii while there for a friend’s wedding. And Vanessa wants to get married on a beach so it’s perfect.”

[info]lady_grace 9th-Mar-2009 02:11 am (UTC)
wat nobody that young needs to be getting married
[info]marcbouwer 9th-Mar-2009 02:18 am (UTC)
they aren't THAT young. i mean, 21 & 20 is young, but in the real world, that's not too young. for me, i just look at them as being the high school musical teen couple, so it seems weird. idk ..
[info]moon__river 9th-Mar-2009 02:36 am (UTC)
no, 21/20 is still pretty f'ing young to get married
[info]misstwirly 9th-Mar-2009 04:33 am (UTC)
lol what? I just turned 20 and I can't imagine getting married anytime soon.
[info]sashanaa 9th-Mar-2009 04:58 am (UTC)
I think they are. Probably just because I'm 20 and can't imagine myself married now.
[info]mari_lyn00 9th-Mar-2009 07:25 am (UTC)
in the real world, 20 & 21 IS still that young.
[info]truthofthewords 9th-Mar-2009 02:24 am (UTC)
seriously. you're not fully grown at that age. I'm the same age and have a lot more growing up to do before I even think about getting married.
[info]lovetheepacey 9th-Mar-2009 02:37 am (UTC)
IA. My best friend's 20 and is obsessed with wanting to get married.. but then again she's been with her bf for 7 years now so I can see why she's prob getting bored just standing still.
[info]dirtyknife 9th-Mar-2009 02:54 am (UTC)
Dude, I know so many people who were 20/21/22 when they got married. It's fucked up, if you ask me. I'm about to turn 23 and the thought of getting married makes me cringe.
[info]velvet123 9th-Mar-2009 03:16 am (UTC)
My sis got married when she was 20 and still going. I don't see anything wrong with getting married at that age. It's not like they're 16.
[info]acidrain0789 9th-Mar-2009 04:41 am (UTC)
MTE.
my sister and her husband got married at 19 & 20. they were high school sweethearts & he was in the army and getting deployed soon. if the situation was different, they would have waited. they are still going strong (3 years married, 7 years together total + almost 2 year old bb boy) but my sis is the first person to tell any young couple to WAIT WAIT WAIT. marriage is tough and most young people are NOT ready. she always tells me how jealous she is of my 19 year old freedom & college life, because she missed out on all of that to get married and start a family.

lol did not mean to write a whole paragraph there, whoops.

[info]xdecadentx 9th-Mar-2009 12:18 pm (UTC)

[info]vivalafangirl 9th-Mar-2009 05:56 am (UTC)

[info]fightformusic 9th-Mar-2009 06:34 am (UTC)

I'm betting on a year.
[info]aishiteru_x3 9th-Mar-2009 02:18 am (UTC)
Hello icon.
[info]team_nicole 9th-Mar-2009 02:15 am (UTC)
My husband and I married when I was 21- he was 23. It will be 7 years this year for us.
But- they are a hollywood couple, and yes the young age marriage always plays against them.
not always though.

wait- needed to add-- I dont think they will last though.

[info]charmedoks 9th-Mar-2009 03:15 am (UTC)
oh man, plz.

let me bet too!

seriously, this is so ridiculously stupid. they are fucking hollywood people. not a lot of those marriages last! especially since they are in their 20s.

hahahah, celebs in their 30s get divorced like 50 times. take for example jlo.

this is not going to last more than 5 years. i'd give them 3 years though.

bahhahaha
[info]whoaaaaaa 9th-Mar-2009 02:14 am (UTC)
seriosuly!! everyone i know is engaged, married, having babies.. not that i want any of that, but it would be nice to have a gentleman around, shiitt.
[info]fractalerrors Re: itt we take bets on how long it will last9th-Mar-2009 02:14 am (UTC)
I give them eight years, two weeks.
[info]wistful_nana_o Re: itt we take bets on how long it will last9th-Mar-2009 02:29 am (UTC)
two months
[info]bestillmyxheart Re: itt we take bets on how long it will last9th-Mar-2009 02:29 am (UTC)
eight years = forever in hollywood.
[info]funbeam Re: itt we take bets on how long it will last9th-Mar-2009 02:17 am (UTC)
i don't really think ontd is the place to expect someone to call you insensitive when talking about two children getting married.
[info]truthofthewords Re: itt we take bets on how long it will last9th-Mar-2009 02:28 am (UTC)
i say maybe 4 years and 3 months. I think they break up once he starts getting more mature roles and shes still releasing crappy music and is an ugly clothing spokesperson
[info]ledgers Re: itt we take bets on how long it will last9th-Mar-2009 03:01 am (UTC)
3 years 4 months.
[info]daftylion Re: itt we take bets on how long it will last9th-Mar-2009 03:07 am (UTC)

[info]d00td00tx3 Re: itt we take bets on how long it will last9th-Mar-2009 08:31 pm (UTC)

[info]inthiscolony 9th-Mar-2009 02:12 am (UTC)

[info]thelastweekend 9th-Mar-2009 02:12 am (UTC)
wait, are they serious?

i kind of like them together, but i can't help but think that this will end in a divorce.
[info]suborbital 9th-Mar-2009 06:57 am (UTC)
Considering most marriages of anyone at any age end in divorce, I can't help but think the same. Marriage means fuck all anymore.
[info]ontdownsme 9th-Mar-2009 02:29 am (UTC)
marriage is for kids.
[info]selphiebooyaka 9th-Mar-2009 02:35 am (UTC)
