t.i. performs at the university of arkansas, remains sexy while doing so
So...I just got back from a T.I. concert hosted by the University of Arkansas. How my school managed to secure such badass sexiness, even I don't know.
edit: Also, the concert was free, bbs. Omg. :3
(BUT I TOTALLY HAD TO CAMP OUT OVERNIGHT FOR FLOOR TICKETS.)
Aside from the gratuitous amounts of bumping and grinding that went on around me, I had a really great time. He played a lot of his old stuff, and it was like a 15-18 song set, so yayyyy. He performed some of his newer material too including Swagga Like Us, Whatever You Like, and Dead And Gone. (I sound like an infomercial. Ugh.)
This is supposed to be one of his last concerts before he goes to jail. He talked a lot about haters and thanked his supporters and those who've stayed with him from day one. He mentioned something about the interwebs and in my heart of hearts I hoped he'd mention ONTD, but he didn't. :( Ooh, and he gave a shoutout to Rihanna before performing Live Your Life saying that she was going through a difficult time right now so the song and our support went out to her.
Anyway, here are a couple of pictures and videos from the concert. It was crazy awesome good. Enjoy! :)

No Matter What:
Dead And Gone:
Live Your Life (with Rihanna shoutout):
What You Know (plus super long monologue before that):
p.s. excuse the crappy video quality. i was trying to be gangsta and dance and rap and record at the same time. epic fail.
He's way hotter than I thought. I love me some T.I.

i go to a small private Catholic university so the biggest celeb we've ever had was Tim Gunn. :o
but i would love to see tim gunn in person.
agh, so conflicted.
I really need to go write my paper that's due.
Ugh, he is so sexy.
Also, don't you LOVE when universities give free concerts? I'm in the organization at my college (Auburn... woot woot SEC schools!) that puts them on and the best we've done recently was Akon last spring (with opening act Soulja Boy... nope, not joking) and O.A.R. in the fall. I don't know about the concert going on this spring yet; I'm not on the actual committee which plans it, I'm on the publicizing committee.
My soph year was Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert (country artists), no spring concert due to crazy happenings within the organization. junior year was Live and Collective Soul in the fall, which was AWESOME, and then Akon/Soulja boy. Then last fall was the OAR one.
We also have semi-famous people come for our semester carnival-type thing. We had Ryan Cabrera once, lol. Last fall was some chick who was on One Tree Hill but is also a singer? And a couple years ago we had The Wailers (Bob Marley's band)... yeah, they were definitely smoking alotta ganja lol.
All we ever got was Hedley.
I'm transferring to UGA next ear....go dawgs :)
we have one every spring with a bunch of random mands & then 1 or 2 "big" names. last year it was chamillionaire & wyclef.
It confuses the shit out of me.
my school had matt nathanson like 3 weeks ago for free. that was pretty cool. it was in a smaller area and the mic wasn't working so he ended up playing the whole show completely acoustic standing on front of a speaker like 3 feet in front of me. BALLER.
I was hoping he would mention ONTD too. Ahaha.
where'd you sit??
did he wipe his balls with that towel?
who cares, it was free.
Have we met before?
Oh yeah, happy birthday.
and thanks, hoebag. :]
