Video of Jessica Simpson's disastrous performance

While trying to convince the world she's a country singer in Grand Rapids, MI last Thursday, Jessica Simpson made a fatal error -- no lip-synching!

Seen in this video from woodradio.com, nearly every song was a disaster while Simpson fought with her earpiece monitor, mumbled through most of her lyrics, and at one point talked through tears. On a brighter note, she didn't look fat!

they focus on it, because she's so quick to open her mouth and reveal her personal affairs to everyone who will listen.

example: about a month or so ago, people.com had an article about Jessica saying she loved tony romo. umm, that's nice why does anyone care? lol

But that's the stuff they focus on in these interviews. Granted, she's not very interesting, so they turn the questioning about the one thing they know she is famous for and that is her love life.

Apparently Jessica rambles on about Tony Romo in concert every night so it's not just interviewers who ask her about him. If you read the Rascal Flatts concert reviews every single one of them has been rolling their eyes at that and saying she doesn't know how to put on a real concert.

Anyway I don't think her messing up her lyrics is for publicity. That's just how she rolls.
