I have no idea what her new CD is going to sound like...Mutt Lange has been producing and singing back for her for all of her big hits. And she has had some great songs! Not to sound mean, but it will be interesting to see how much of her hit "sound" was due to Mutt and how much was Shania herself.

I think her sound had a lot to do with Mutt. It was very much in the style of his other work. But that's not to say that she won't have more success if she takes her music in a different direction. I hope for her sake she does. Then, no one can ever say that she was only successful because of him.

That doesn't mean there aren't other people out there will make her sound good. Her last album was in 2002 - her sound probably would have changed a little anyway.
