Continuing to face struggles throughout her life, Heather Locklear was arrested last night in Montecito for allegedly driving under the influence, police reports tell.

After being booked and posing for a mug shot at around 8 PM, the former “Melrose Place” actress is said to have been released from lock-up on Sunday (September 28).

It wasn’t too long ago that Miss Locklear checked herself into rehab to fight ongoing depression - leaving the center in late July.

Back at that time, a close friend of Heather’s optimistically told press, “Heather’s feeling really great. And she looks beautiful, just radiant. She told a really funny story and she laughed from her core. That’s when I knew she was going to be fine. I think that’s the best part of all – it’s so nice to hear her laugh.”

At this time, Heather’s reps have yet to comment on their client’s legal dilemma.

Maybe it's an LA thing? Nobody here, even the richest people, have drivers. They all like to bust out the fancy cars and drive themselves.
